We had such a glorious day last Saturday for our annual fundraiser at Host of Christmas Past and I wanted to share some of the pictures I took.
The carriage rides were once again a great success.
No one seemed to mind waiting for the rides and sometimes the lines were nearly a half block long, but with the beautiful weather and all the festivities folks just enjoyed themselves.
And to assist some of the passengers in and out of the carriage is our own Shelter Manager Denise lending a helping hand. And with all that sun Ronda tried to keep cool while collecting the money and handing out tickets. And there's Wayne giving a helping hand to Ginger who lost her Santa hat.
A new ride this year was the Cow Train...and it stayed busy the entire day and there is our hard working engineer John. And here's Kim enjoying the Cow Ride.
We had many Humane Society members helping us and want to thank each and every one of you. And also thanks to all of you who came out and supported us...as you know it was the best HOCP ever!
Teresa collecting at the Cow Train rides and Carl and Laura collecting all the cash!
They had really good bands playing...
The booth on the square had all sorts of Christmas items for sale and the Dog quilt by Ronda Asta was available for folks to buy chances. Here we have Maxie and Anne taking home doggie cookies from the Christmas Tree that Vicky and her class at South Lincoln School made.
And even Abraham Lincoln couldn't resist stopping by and enjoying some of the goodies.
And a very special thank you to Ginger and Honey for making the Carriage Rides such a smashing success!
And for those of you that couldn't take a ride here is what it sort of looked like...
Once again thanks to all that helped make the Host of Christmas Past 2009 the best ever.

Looks great! What an amazingly good job you guys are doing!
